Tracy is a freelance embroiderer, designer, and artist with a passion for traditional and contemporary embroidery, who formally trained at the Royal School of Needlework.

Tracy now runs her own business from her studio in the heart of Durham City where she designs, stitches, makes, produces, sells, teaches, promotes, inspires and enjoys all kinds of stitches textiles and embroideries.  

Teaching includes day workshops, short and long courses for both traditional embroidery through the Royal School of Needlework, and contemporary stitched textiles through STITCHBUSINESS.

The studio is well equipped with a choice of threads, fabrics and materials including DMC threads, Anchor threads, Appleton wools, natural fabrics, metal threads, needles, hoops, and publications by Tracy.
